Juanito’s Tacos is a family kitchen serving the real Mexican street food we grew up loving, right here in Urbana.
Why we do this
Good food brings people together. That simple idea is why we fire up the grill every single day at 1002 N Cunningham Ave in Urbana. We wanted to share the tacos, burritos and tortas we love with our neighbors across Champaign-Urbana, made the honest, traditional way.
We are a family, and we run our stand like one. That means friendly faces, fair prices and food we are proud to hand you. When you order from us, you are not a number in a drive-through line. You are a guest at our table.
The truck is run by Jose Rodriguez, our executive chef, together with Rocio Hernandez and his crew. They are a tight, well-organized team who are big on having fun and on doing the job the right way, and the whole family stays involved. What ties it all together is a genuine passion for cooking.

We are proud to be a small, family-run business, and we are proud of the community that has grown up around this truck. Catering is available too, so if you are feeding a crowd, just ask.
